Mercury Basses

The Mercury Series replaced the Axxess Series model for model. The XS2 became the MB2, the XS4 became the MB4, etc. The six-string XS6 did not become the MB6 until 1993. The MB40 is not part of the original Mercury Series and features an extreme double cutaway body. The Mercury series is unique in that it has an extended neck joint into the body (angled).
